My name is Alastair from England. I’m 67 and in the autumn of 2018 I walked The Camino Frances, an old pilgrim route of some 500 miles from St Jean Pied de Port in the French Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela in north western Spain.
It was an unforgettable experience, made all the more special by the wonderful people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who showed me such generosity, care and affection.
